Love my S&W Airweight!!! 👍🏻 I've been told more than once it isn't an adequate self-defense cartridge, but those same folks have yet to volunteer for a live demonstration to back their theory. 😂

S'long as it ain't .25ACP (highly unikely it is. 🙄) and you can hittum the Target ... ittle do.

I had to use one of mine back in '95.
Lotta stress waiting for the DA to rule "Self Defense. Justifiable use of deadly force and homicide. No charges will be filed." and worrying about his gang "buddies" coming around to get retribution.
(guy was in 'The Junior Boys', I beieve it was ... tho it might have been 'The Bloods'. Both were in the area. So were 'The Crypts'. Our convenience store was on the border of the three teritories.)
Sadly the guy didn't survive his injury.☹️
HIS FAULT!!!! If he had not shot at me I would not have drawn and shot at him!
Also not my fault he missed (8 times) and I didn't. (4 shots total.) When he was hit he made an honest attempt to leave, so I could (and did) stop shooting. The threat was over.👍

Holy smokes!!! I can't begin to imagine having to go through that. I'm certainly glad everything worked out in your favor!! 👍🏻

I've only ever been in a couple of "iffy" situations. I tend to focus on situational awareness and avoid "iffy" altogether whenever possible. I truly believe that 99.9% of the time you can literally think your way out of most predicaments.

My closest "is this really happening" moment was on a trout stream of all places. :rolleyes:
