What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Goin' small today, 3 3/16" Erickson and a Peanut sized Ohta.

A fine pair. As for me I couldn't resist carrying the Marlow this morning.

^ Interesting contrast between the saw cuts and the marrow! Look forward to seeing how this one settles in with time in use.

Thanks Duane. I think it turned out pretty well. Almost looks like an old knife now.

Vic Director, Gec #92 Eureka, & my Case peanut which has been carried everyday for a little over a year & a half.

This little one--my first very own peanut--just arrived today and promptly kicked its bigger cousin out of the pocket.
It's a joyful little (little) thing.

I know the saying goes "Ignorance is bliss.", but in my case and this one in particular, ignorance is an aggravation. What is that blade on the Vic Director for? It is obviously specialized and I might be led by the pipe in the photo to think that it has to do with pipe smoking. But, I've never smoked a pipe and stopped smoking in the third grade when I was 9, so smoking paraphernalia is not very much in my way of expertise. Of course, it could have something to do with horses or most anything else and I still wouldn't know what to do with it other than clean out a grout line in bathroom shower tiles. However, this doesn't look like the type of knife to have that kind of a tool.

Oops, I forgot to mention that I am carrying that boy's knife in nife brite acrylic again today. It got in trouble with a hot dog supper a couple nights ago and the mustard left its mark on the blade.

I believe that is citrus peeler with a small screwdriver tip. It is odd looking though...

Ahh... that makes perfect sense. Maybe the screwdriver tip is to unscrew the navel. :D

You fellas are correct it is a orange peeler, with a screwdriver tip, I don't know if I've used it on oranges, I use the screwdriver most, the throat is sharpened and works well striping wire, scoring things, screwdriver has pryed a few beer caps off and I treat the serrated part like any other serrated blade.
