Nice find JeffMy dream big knife that I bought from a vendor, Mike, at the Badger Blade Show last spring. He sets up right inside the door, and this caught my eye 30 seconds after entering the show. He has earned some of my money several years in a row now. I think he had to pay his dues to get that booth spot. He’s smart, and always has a bunch of vintage knives I agonize over. Last year he had a big selection of Buck sheath knives that really had me tempted, but the Craftsman won out.
I’d always wanted a Schrade 165 Woodsman, and this being made for Craftsman makes it mo’ better to me.View attachment 2399774
Ran out and pulled a green onion for my girl’s morning omelotte.
2019 Forum Knife, and the @Half/Stop Schrade Whittler to make both Woodnesday and Whittler Wednesday requirements.View attachment 2399775That’s Jason’s battered Zippo that he carried in Afghanistan. I fueled it up to get the smoker lit for the turkey this morning.
I’ll smoke it today, and then bring it to fully cooked in the oven tomorrow while I smoke a big top sirloin beef roast tomorrow.
Enjoy your day, my friends!
Lovely DavisonGood morning. Sitting out back with this barehead jack. 3 7/8’s. Oosik covers.

Another smartie Kurt!Happy Turkey Day. Having many wild turkey friends has not put me off eating turkey. I don’t tell them they taste pretty good. Today I’ll have this single blade gunstock jack with me. It’s made by Booby Toole. 3 3/4 inches. The spearpoint with a long pull made me get it.

The perfect choice GaryHappy Thanksgiving folks!
Hope you have a day full of good food, family and friends.
I've got so many things to be thankful for, I wouldn't know where to begin.
One of those things is this place, and all the good people that gather here.
Taking my Lloyd along for a family gathering at my nieces.
