Cool story about the origins of your Buck 303 Work-Man.Little story about the Buck Work-Man. In 1989 I was the leadperson over a small crew of machinists. I wasn’t into knives then but always carried and frequently used a Delrin Case peanut. One day I lost the peanut at work and was whining about. My boss handed me a McMaster-Carr catalog and told me to pick out a “utility” (wink-wink) knife and then fill out a purchase requisition for a “utility” knife for everyone in our department (including him). In a few days we all had our new “utility” knives and it stayed in my pocket for many years. Certainly one of the knives I had the longest.

After sanding, did you coat it with anything, Bob?Thanks kindly Gary. A little sandpaper really transforms an Opinel.
Keep those fine rotations coming.
I'm a firm believer in "use it or lose it". I think my wife has lots of problems for the same reason you gave. When she was 35, she could not do much for weeks at a time and then go out and work hard at something physical and, at worst, get a little bit sore afterward. Now she tries to do that and "does great bodily harm" to herself.
My doctor said I appeared to have some irritation of the rotator cuff. No surgery, though, mercifully. (As a pessimist and a coward, I am convinced that joint surgery always makes things worse.)
Your prehab is a good idea. I think a lot of my problems are due to having let a lot of muscles go for a lot longer than I realized. Oh, gee, suddenly I can't kneel in a canoe. Oh, gee, suddenly I can't crouch to pick something up. Oh, gee, suddenly if I bend to pick something up, I fall on my head, and gee, somersaults didn't used to hurt like this.
Thanks! I got it cheap because it was the previous year's. I'm sure it would cut if I asked it to.
Not only is that awfully kind of you, it's keenly observant. I wouldn't know one turkey from another, they all look like Butterballs to me.Got a picture of my two favorite turkeys. They’re both getting close to being 4 year olds. Butterball was shunned by his turkey family. He was also the runt. Then he hurt his leg bad and it became infected. I started feeding him and his leg eventually healed up, although it still looks bad. He was always alone until he met his friend. These two are inseparable now. And they seem to enjoy sitting with me out back with my cat and my neighbors cats. It’s my happy turkey story.
"If eyes were made for seeing, then beauty is it's own excuse for being". What Emerson is really trying to say here is that it's okay to carry a knife (or two) just because they're super good looking. So you did have a reason. Message me if you need any more excuses. No rhyme or reason today, just grabbed the first 2 that caught my eye.

Nice looking F-Unit. I was the executive chef on a dinner train some years back. The clickity clack of the unwelded rail is a fond memory of mine.
