What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Making the best of beautiful weather. I pulled the rest of my “Little Finger” carrots, leeks, and green onions, so I thought this old short-line Camillus #1 Hawkbill would be the right choice for trimming them up.
And paired it with an old Robeson Easy Open Jack. View attachment 2416767View attachment 2416769

I often leave a lot of these in the ground, and let them overwinter, but I plan on planting beans where they are next year, and beans and onions are not good companion plants.
View attachment 2416770Spending the rest of the day putting down fresh woodchips in the paths, and a thick layer of compost in the beds.
Nice leeks!
Knives aren't bad either.

As I cant walk to far just now I went for a drive to a little cafe I know with a lovely farm shop out in the sticks.

Oops I didnt know it had shut (due to that illness thing I hate to mention),so against the regulations they heated up a pastie for me from the butchers counter.

Then sitting in the car listening to this brilliant radio station I found recently with a takeaway coffee ☕ and a Twix for pudding life doesn't get much better than this... 😅

It was my little Bunny keeping me company (thats a knive, not Bunny from the "special" agency 🤭)

The Viper Viper!!! This Viper, made by Viper, our BF knife for 2020 is a work of art in my opinion!! Time to tote it around again, and show it off!!View attachment 2416919View attachment 2416920View attachment 2416921View attachment 2416922
The dark, Bark Horn handles are special on this one, and the Damascus bead by Davide Steri suits it very well!! I'm so proud!! 🤣
