The Kish certainly can be a confusing affair. It seems there are two South Branches. One is over your way, and the other branches off over around S. Perryville Rd, and heads off really southbound. Go figure... The farthest upstream I ever put-in was at the Hickory Hills Canoe Launch off S. Appleton Rd. Our paddling club was doing a river cleanup between there and who-knows-where at the end of Distillery Rd somewhere??? And on that day, I was packin' this imported Schrade in its Kydex sheath, hanging off my PFD.

I know the Distillery Road stretch very well.
Had good hauls of channel cats there off and on.

Up this way, the North Branch of the North Branch comes from up around Harvard, while the South Branch of the North Branch rises up between Woodstock and Huntley.

Well, I would never look down on a Proper. I own several, including a Gold Class, and I find them to be a very capable blade that fits my love for single-blade, functional knives!! I like ‘em!!

Not quite sure why I ended up with these 3 in my pockets again today . I guess it may be because I like them so much and keep them handy where I dress . Using an older photo because it is a dismal day today .

paulhilborn and I were talking about these 93 Ramfoots today about where was the location of the shield . This shows it pretty good .

Nice talking to you today Harry and thanks for posting your 93's. My Cocobolo is quite dark but livin's up color wise once introduced to sunlight. The slip came with my 93 and fits like a glove

I’ve got three now just missing the red micarta sheepsfoot and I’ll add it at some point. Action is not amazing but I love that little knife.
