What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I drove out to a Michelin starred bistro for a flat white coffee just to get out of the house.

Sadly not as good as Costas who make them properly,plus they had loud naff music playing.

Still its good to get out,I had a lovely view of a dull English road in the rain. 😅

I did discover a Railway I didnt know about (closed of course) on the way home.

Honestly its not as exciting as I make it sound... 😂 😂 😂

I'm very keen on these Gouttière knives (gutter I think refers more to Rainwater gutter than sewers..in French ;)) Well worth getting one, sturdy construction, great carbon that's sharp and patinates evenly, comfortable in the hand due to thicker slabs despite a slim handle. Great rustic chopper:cool: This one came from France as I'm in the EU but now Americans have a good chance, mine is in Olivewood with some good stripes.

Usually late in December in Wisconsin we have some snow and this year we do not . I do miss it a little so I went looking at some of my older photos and found this one from back when we cruised up the Rhine then drove into Germany and Austria . It was taken during a different time of the year but it does have some snow in it and reminds me of the great time we had . We have had some great trips in our life but feel that we can't do it anymore but we do have the memories and that is what it is all about after all .
