What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Kris -

That finback is outrageously beautiful.

Sorry we didn't connect at the GTB party last week - we didn't get there till later in the evening. Hope you has a great time in the Tetons!

 I like the looks of that one too Kris!

Almost hate to post this worn old trooper amidst all these beautiful knives, but here she is. It has been cleaned up so much that I cannot make out the name, just the remains of a "C" or "G" for the first letter; the main blade will snap two out of three times, soft the last time, pen is fine. May possibly be a WW-II era military contract knife.

That's a nice looking old knife Old Hunter. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". ;) I'd have that one in my pocket too.

These were with me in the garden until the famous Hebrides weather remembered itself. Strimming in the rain sucks.

Northfield 85 Bullet end jack with its weirdo patina that's forming, and my Buck 110 since I'm most likely going fishing after work.

That one bears a striking resemblance to this old Camillus of mine. I liked the blade steel and the size of this one so much I had the black plastic handles replaced with bone (always wanted a green knife!).

Looks lovely to me. Reminds me of the first knife I called my own in the 1950's. Similar covers and blade shapes. It was older than I by a long shot. I think your time frame is correct.

Carrying this Queen today.

Think I will toss this little guy in my pocket today. Yes, that is a toothpick for size reference.
