Have a great weekend!
Those burnt ends look tasty, and the Charlie Bell always looks great.
That’s an awesome pair you’ve got today 👍
Got out and took a pic before the rains set in.

Don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before, John, but the stag on that one is superb.
Came down to The City today to celebrate my wife's birthday. First up was afternoon tea at our hotel (The Fairmont). Here's looking out our window at the Top of the Mark. Now we're off to the symphony to see MTT conduct Mahler 5. (Sadly, the Alox Solo is gonna have to miss the performance.)

Sounds like a nice getaway. Have fun Tyson, and happy birthday to your wife.

I got married 40 years ago at the in the Presidential suite of the Stanford Court across the street. It was epic! I’m sorry, please wish your wife a happy birthday!

I love it! And I'll tell her, thank you!

Thanks! We haven't been down here since Covid - we used to come here every couple of months or so.

Good Morning Porchsters,
goodness how I have missed writing that. apologies for the lack of interaction Been doing the accounts. flipping accountant wrote to me last week another set are due. But anyway, enough of my woes. I have good news, another of my MIA knives turned up last week when I dug a winter sweater from storage. I don't know if its been washed or not. It was regular carry until it went missing. I don't even remember what knife it is. What I do know is its a good 'un.

Smashing Mr P! :D
When I am working in my shed this door is normally left open to the elements, so I only put hardy stuff there that can take a bit of rain.

As the knife

Jack Black Jack Black sent me is stainless I have found the perfect position for it,the pry bar is also on the door next to a tool I bought from and antique shop.#

Today I am actively looking for things to cut and pry. 😂

Viper is in my pocket.

LOL! :D Nice set-up John

Sounds good Ken :)
Earlier today I reached into my pocket and my well loved 15 huckleberry boys knife wasn't there where it should've been. Fearing the worst I messaged my girlfriend who immediately found it on the floor at home. I'm sure you can all imagine how relieved I was.

Yikes! Glad you have it back
Busy weekend so far. We watched my daughter play her viola in the orchestra and my son had week 2 of little league try outs. We still managed to fit in some skating. I carried a TC barlow.

Must stop speed reading I read "messaged my girlfriend" as "massaged my girlfriend" I thought is this some knife therapy when you loose a knife I am not aware of 😅 Glad that you found it,thats a beauty.

The cure to lost knife (if knife is equipped with a bail):
LANYARD.
I made 4 of these:
View attachment 2473827
for under $5.
32 inch hanging planter chain ("40 pound capacity") and a 130 pound saltwater fishing swivel on each end. (fishing swivel can be replaced with snap claw's, if desired)
View attachment 2473832

Along retractable key/ID lanyard may also be a viable option, depending upon the budget.
A long lanyard lets you use the knife (or multi-tool) without removing the lanyard ... removing kinda defeats the purpose ...

Glad you found the knife safe n sound. 😁👍

I think I left it on my lap and it fell when I stood up. I still have the chain it came with somewhere, but this is the first time I've ever had a scare like that.
