Whenever I dig this Ulster out, I end up using it awhile. The round butt is different. Fits my hand.

OHHHHHHH BOYYYYYY.

Chris got me. @321Bandaid

Chris has become a great friend over the last year. We spend quite a bit of time chatting outside of the forum talking about all kinds of topics and I value his friendship a ton. He knew I had been ogling these white bone Vipers…and then, boom! He surprises me with one in the mail.

Thanks again buddy. This one is in the pocket today and will be a pocket hog for the rest of the year. Smooth white bone goes with everything!

Well done Chris. The generosity is overwhelming here.
Congrats Jon.

Locking Knife of the Week is a MAM Iberica with liner lock:

International Knife of the Week coincidentally is also a Portuguese MAM with sheepsfoot blade; simple knife, but effective:

Indeed Gary, two examples of simple and effective knives.👍;)

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Well, I went to the dentist yesterday and got fitted for my partial which are replacing my bottom molars. Went home and had dinner a while later. As soon as I tried to chew it popped out. Put it back on and tried again same result. After five tries I gave up and took it out. Called my dentist to get an appointment but he only works three days a week. So it could be a while. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday the usual lamb and SAK. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

I hope plate is corrected quickly.

My mother in law has had her snap in full dentures reworked and replaced a few times. Thank goodness she bought the insurance on them or she would have been up a creek. They wouldn't believe her at first, which is unreal, how does she not know her own mouth?! They also used a chemical that gave her burns in her mouth because they didn't rinse the dentures off before handing them back to her.

Long story short, make sure to get a good dentist and insurance just in case.

I hope yours gets fixed right and ASAP!

Been carrying this one since I got it. Worked 11.5 hours last night into this morning, my feet hurt. Beautiful day though.

That's an interesting knife that looks well done overall.
The color of the bone is about what I'd expect from a B&S but the jigging itself is fine on their knives.
From what I've been seeing lately it may be time for me to start looking into B&S slipjoints.

I bought 2 of these, and one yellow delrin one. I highly recommend them. They're on sale right now on one site having to do with mountains.
