What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Isn't that a fancy way of saying Carbon V?
It is the same alloy, but "Carbon V" was trademaked by Cold Steel. Camillus made the Cold Steel Carbon V bladed knives for a number of years. The original Sharon Steel name for the alloy was 0170-6. The Camillus metallurgist, Dan Maragni, had the composition changed, so they were in need of a new name. Phil Gibbs came up with the name "0170-6C" to be used for the blade steel of knives with that alloy, but not made for Cold Steel.
