Had a pocketful of steel today. Can anyone help me ID the decade in which my Ka’bar was made? I’ve had it for 30 years for sure. It looked like this when I got it after my grandpa passed. He was a veterinarian in my home town and packed it when he did calls out to the farms to work on large livestock. He was a good man. He took me catfishing and taught me some of the best lessons I’ve ever learned in my life. Thanks in advance.
Very nice vintage carries.
Your grandfather seems like a great person to emulate.
I can only find 1923 to present for the tang stamp.

My stag 25 today, inspired by Bob’s stag. Lots of baseball today, we watched some baseball, practiced baseball, and tons of catch helping my son work in his new glove.

Great easy open Bart.👍🏻

I would slather mine with neatsfoot oil. One glove followed me from high school right through college.

Glad you can experience the game with your son.

Locking Knife of the Week is a big stag Joker lockback:

International Knife of the Week is a Laguiole I bought in Denia, Spain. The knife shop salesperson insisted it was made in Albacete when I asked if it was from China, but I still don't believe him. Nice knife, though, and well worth the 7 euro price.
