What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Very happy to have a Stag Gunstock back in my hands again Regrettably sold one years back and have had an eye out for one ever since

Brass was in limited supply but was still used. Camillus did have a supply from before the war and some WW2 issue knives had brass liners, especially those made early on.
It looks like it has a 4 line stamp, which points to mid 1940s at the latest.
Its military issue as its marked USN.
The mark is stamped into the wood. Before May 1942, the govt spec had the marking stamped into a shield. Afterwards, the shield was dropped and the marking was stamped directly into the handle.

I truly belive there was some mocking in those pics.

Maybe not ...... but you're probably right.
On the other hand she might be getting knife fever and now that you posted two pics on Blade Forums of her handy work, she might get star struck !

and then again, she might be online at this moment putting her order in for a new Kroo folder and a Wilfred Works example ....... for her next trip.

or she might be signing up for membership on Blade Forums, at this moment ............. but probably not.
It could be that a year from now, nobody on the totin' thread wants to follow her post of delicious foods and stunning knives. I might have to post in the PM.

I did offer to get her a platinum membership, but received a NO!.

I do wish she would get into knives , they are cheaper than gold and diamonds.

To taunt me, Mrs.F says she will sell my knives for $10 apiece when I pass.
