LOL! :D

In all seriousness, it has that little big knife appeal. Just a wonderful cutter/slicer in the kitchen and for whatever else you call on it to do. Its relative diminutive closed size makes it easy to throw in the pocket with the confidence that it will be up to any challenge. One is overcome with a kind of unconscious competence when under its spell.

Hi all.

I thought I could contribute to this thread - I like carrying a Texas toothpick on me all the time. Usually one of several blades I carry every day. This is a Rough Rider "Midnight Swirl" 3 inch. My favorite size of these. Note the lo-tek quick opening feature. :D

To Gevonovich, Jack and all the other potential Castor lovers......I dare say......to me....more my taste than the Opinel....just as effective with a little less pocket presence.....just MHO......

its real slim and unobtrusive to carry but has enough blade that i dont usually feel 'underknifed'.

I put on my real strong belt to hold my jeans up as I brought these with me today, along with a couple of SAK's too but I view them more as tools than knives ;)

Such a group, hard to leave any of them at home!

Yes, hard to keep out of the pocket. I wish I could get hold of a whole boxful! :)

I hope you didn't walk by any strong magnets Gary. ;)

:D

Carrying these two today, but I'll probably slip the Castor in my pocket too! :D

Spot the Douk-Douk. It cut me pretty bad yesterday. My left index was in the way of the half stop while I was closing it for some reason. Auch :(. I might switch it up with an Opinel today, less dangerous :).

Buck Cadet, early Buck production (1990) with brass liners - I like this one as much as the earlier Camillus 303 production.

This one again today, however the clip blade isn't shiny anymore since I used it for dinner prep last night. A new patina has started.
