I could easily see that. That one was made for me by Mr. Scott Smith with some stag I provided. He did a fantastic job. Low volume hobby maker but makes one heck of a fine knife.

Case Peabody Coal Co. Trapper, and High Carbon (Camillus) Craftsman Camp Knife.

Three teenaged granddaughters are here this week. So much more relaxing than the high intensity five and eight year olds who were here last week. These girls lived with us for several years after their Dad got home from Afghanistan. It was a rough time while he dealt with his injuries, but a blessed time all the same. I was the old guy picking them up at their grade school, kinda out of place with all the 25 yr old moms. Then to the kitchen table to do their homework.
The oldest leaves for college this fall accepted into a military forensics program, and the 17 yr old intends to study medicine and serve in the military after high school.

And the 14 yr old asked me for guitar lessons while they’re here.

Absorb all that youthful energy while you can Jeff.
Time for great memories for all.

My lovely daughter purchased an afternoon knife making class at THE BLACKSMITH EXPERIENCE for Father's Day so I could have something I wanted to do one day while everyone else was at the beach during our Alabama vacation. It was tons of fun and I learned a lot. My knife is far from perfect but it's definitely in the forever section of the collection.
