A tale of 2 islands side by side in the Mediterranean with a similar method of construction but with different end results.

In many ways you have to be a bit more skilful to use these as no lock up or snap.

Corsican and Sardinian, now which one should I carry tomorrow on my bike?

Both were bought on my motorbike travels and are authentic in every way as a local knife to be used.

As you can see in one photo it was so hot in Corsica I melted and old uns fell asleep on the ferry. 😂

Darned nice knives there, R. 🤙
When you sneak the Schrade Cut. Co. back into the display case at the museum, take a look at the placard. I’m curious what year it was made.

The L.F.& C. pruner could be about the same age, but, the Fayetteville Small Barlow is older than that.
The pick bone premium stockman could be a little older or a little newer, but, not by much. It all depends on who you want to believe when knives are that old.
Hammered pins on all three. EA42 said the pick bone Schrades from the Walden Bone Shop were very early Schrades.
