What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It is amazing how there is always something new to learn in knife collecting. I am a big fan of Bob Loveless, but I cannot justify keeping one of his expensive customs in my collection. This Lone Wolf folding knife was designed by Loveless, and it shows. The blade shape, handle material, and overall look are pure Loveless. He loved green micarta with a red liner. This one has turned brownish over the years. It is well made with good action and quality materials. He was ahead of his time with this knife. A bit of Loveless for not much money.

Bought this one a while back. It originally came with the blade way off center, so I never really carried it and put it in the box. After recently learning how to center a traditional slipjoint knife blade, it now goes into the rotation.

Would love to hear about your centering method! I have a couple of Case knives that could use an adjustment. 👍🏻

You bet. This video will explain it much better than I can. I will say that you have to be careful when applying this method to a knife with bone covers without bolsters.

I have done this with a few of mine and it works like a charm.

Hmm... Easy enough! I tried a similar theory on a knife a while back and just made a mess of things (loose pivot, etc). I'll have to give it another go. Thanks for sharing! If you need me, I'll be over here turning a sodbuster into a sidewinder! 😁🤙

Do you mind sharing where you picked it up from? Good looking knife.
Thanks
