Nice Opinel, Gary. Those 'slims' sure are graceful looking, especially in combination with the slight trailing point. Nice piece of olivewood, too.

Thanks, graceful is what they are, enough of a swell to keep her in control for both normal cuts and draw type cuts, this and the ebony are growing on me quite a bit lately!

Awhile back there were numerous threads going around on SAKs, and it made me really start jonesin' for an Alox SAK. I have too many SAKs to count, but for some reason never picked up one in Alox. Boy, are they slick! I just got this silver cadet yesterday, swiped across the stone a few times, and slipped it in my pocket. It's so slim, light, and probably my sharpest SAK. It disappears so well that I can justify carrying more than one knife! I think I'll keep it...

Impressive job on that Wharncliffe! Great pattern too, really pleased with my Tidioute, I like the canine fang shield:D

Thanks Will and I am with you on the shield my friend. Wish mine had the tooth but the color of the autumn bone spoke to me :)

Not to mention the swedged Northfield with nail nick. I am kind of attached to this guy, just a little.

Ya I was skeptical on the lock at first. Was not sure if I would like it or not for edc but its really a none issue now with use. I cant feel the tab when using it and now that I am used to it I just press the tab and hit the spine against my leg to close like any other slipjoint. Really wish they would have used ebony for the wood choice.
