What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Really nice stockman, Gary, I think one of Case's very best releases from the last decade or so. I've got Roper in pocket right now at home, but will be switching to my Case 75, courtesy of Matt_WY, when I go back out.

It's a tough day for our family. We have to say goodbye to my son's 13-year-old Vizsla. She's had cancer for a while and been on pain meds and it's just time to say goodbye. She's been with him and his wife since before they were married and has been there every day with their 3 children. They have another dog and I'm sure it will affect him also. My wife and I said our goodbyes yesterday. We both love Molly and she was a good companion to us also. Today the vet will come to their home and put her to sleep. My heart is breaking for them as I know the pain they are going through.
I'll carry this one today but my mind is with them.

Sorry for your family's loss.
Very sorry to hear Gary. I am glad to hear she will suffer no more. 😟
May good memories linger on.
I was going to say this same thing sort of, but Bob said it better so...+1

Took the peanut with me to the periodontist for a routine appointment. I had considered doing some mowing when I got back, but the car's thermometer was fluctuating between 96-98F 🫠
So rather than mow, I thought I'd better see what was happening on the Porch :)

I’m so sad for your loss. We’ve had to say goodbye to so many, and yet we keep bringing in new fur babies to love and cherish.

I dread those decisions, soo hard losing a dog. I’m sorry. I don’t know who said it originally but, "My favorite hello and hardest goodbye".

Hope you get the pests figured out, Jack.
Unlike the past two years, which were very dry, we’ve had plenty of rain this season. And I suspect that when the crops are healthier, they are better able to fight off insect and fungal threats. Plenty of rain, plus the fact that I crowded them, and mixed different crops together, using some as decoys, must have something to do with hardly any insect damage this year.
Of course, real farmers in large production can’t do that.
I am seeing crop dusters using small helicopters a lot this year, as opposed to fixed wing planes. Are they doing that down under?
That pretty much sums it up well, we’re having a very dry year and crops can’t grow away from pests.

We use planes when it gets very wet, but that’s certainly not a problem this year locally.

Where I am, I expect a below average harvest at best.

That's a beauty !! What make is that gorgeousness ?
Thank you my friend,

Sean Yaw out of Bozeman. Stag is from a deer I shot, a2 clip and lamb blades.

We use dogs to hunt deer here, the antler is from the first stag my dog Ellie found all by herself. She died of cancer last December so it’s a great momento. She was one of those once in a lifetime dogs.

Ah, Gary, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to say goodbye. Prayers up for your whole family.

I have a real soft spot for gunstocks. This one looks great.
I've been impressed with the Rosecraft's I have.
It’s a great knife, the stag version looks super nice too, but I probably wouldn’t carry it as much as this sleeker micarta version. I’ve been impressed enough with the brand to get four different models all very recently, with another on the way.

Hey guys, I really appreciate your comments and support. I knew I could count on you to understand. I really feel for my grandkids. It's so hard for them to understand but so much a part of growing up.
