Wonderful knife. Tough call on carrying and using. Maybe special occasions would be a good timeNot really toting this today, but I thought I would share. This one is a real special one for me, a few years ago while visiting my mom, I had to go out in the storage building and look for something and saw my dad's old toolbox out there. My dad passed away 12 years ago. While digging around in the tool box I came across this Imperial Kamp King, but it was in rough shape, the cellulose film was all crumbling on the handles, rusted, etc. I decided I would clean it up and hold on to it because it belonged to my dad. I was heartbroken when trying to put one of the scales back on the little tab that hold it to the liner snapped off. I was bummed about it and just set it aside. Last week I thought about it again and found a broken scale donor knife for cheap on ebay, so I was finally able to get it back together. I kind of want to carry and use it but at the same time want to just keep it for the memories

It’s funny you say that. I carried mine yesterday and couldn’t get the secondary opened. It’s my spinal tap knife. The pull on the secondary goes to 11!

Hope all were uninjured....animals and people.
Two stalwart carries Bart.
Thanks for beef clarification.
Thanks guys. No animals hurt and I assume no people. The car was gone and I didn’t see car parts everywhere, so I assume it wasn’t too bad.Fine pair of knives Bart![]()

Never a good situation for either side. Fortunately none of our cattle got out.It was on NBC News Chico, CA this morning that a herd of cattle had escaped their pasture during the night and that a truck had plowed into them killing some and crippling some.
I’ve gotten pretty used to the unexpected work after a while, it’s just part of the deal. Thanks for the clarification my friend. Sorry about the unexpected work today.
My favorite mug too ................ yeah, I copycatted you.![]()

Simple, affordable, traditional kitchen tool that just works, my best kitchen knife so far. These two spanish beauties. The kitchen kni⁸fe has a 200 mm blade and is very sturdy, it has almost a meditarranean bowie - feel. Carbon steel.
The horn handle friction folder has a 90 mm blade, inox I presume. The picture does not give the knife justice, it is beautifull. Both had a good edge, easy to fine tune.
