What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just as I was about to walk out the door this morning one of my boys came down and was clearly sick. I said I’d stay home which made the wife happy.

He’s currently resting and I’m restless. Tempted to do something stupid, my father gave me this old solingen folder and I’m going to try re-covering it. The bone is broken and I figure it’s better than taking apart one of my expensive knives.

Why thank you kind sir! I am going to assume that the typo would adjust towards “ ruggedly” instead of “rudely” 😂.

However, some of the ladies prefer a rude/handsome man and said man would probably carry a rudely handsome knife 🤔😂.

High tide and the full moon got the better of me today surf fishing... my trusty 110 ended up covered in the sand in the surf along with half of my stuff. Here it is cleaned up (mostly).

Surf fishing is starting to pick up again down here in the low country.

The Mini Copper is a really useful carry. Fine guests dining in your garden today, your service must be top rate :D Only ever seen a Black Squirrel once and that was in Germany. Here, the Reds' coats get greyer during the winter and I have seen a pure White but I don't think it was an Albino.

The most common shark we catch here on medium spinning gear is atlantic sharpnose which you can keep 1 per person per day. In the spring we got a nice one and my fishing buddy marinated and grilled us up some shark steaks. From mid june till up until this weekend the bite has been so slow that I haven't really planned on catching anything decent let alone bringing the 48 QT cooler full of ice
