What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I got a couple loads of cattle back from Oregon today. The last two will come back next week. This is the last summer I will have cattle on the ranch up there, as it sold and the new owner will graze it, so I will no longer lease it. We’ve been grazing up there for 15 years, lots of good times and memories.

I know first hand what a great build that is.👍🏻
I had a teacher like that long ago.😱
Thanks Bob :)
I just googled it before posting and found it's currently on sale for $12.46 ... Unbelievable.
It's been out several years and I figured it wouldn't even still be available.
I've never "loved" the covers but I agree, a well built pocket knife for an incredible, almost give away price.

Good looking herd being offloaded. Hate you are losing ground

I always admire the handle of that knife, José!

Bone handled Belknap Hardware John Primble's for Thursday. 😊
Still trying to decide if I want to get this year's mystery cover and shield forum knife. 🤔

Hard to imagine a more appealing stockman than that one: round bolsters with tasteful groove, almost-sunk joints, clip/sheep/spay blade combo, sensational color/jigging, classic shield! How big is that one?

I’m sitting in a meeting that has the premise of doom and gloom in the future. Fortunately I have a nice old Schrade Walden to play with

Definitely agree that's a nice old cattle knife!

Goin to town later for lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe - gotta support em. Then on to Rite Aid to pick up prescriptions and our local weekly paper. It's a Bull Nose for the journey. Coffee only for breakfast.

Glad you still have your Rite Aid, ED. Any rumors of it closing?
Just over a month ago, Rite Aid closed all of its stores in Michigan. We'd been using the same Rite Aid pharmacy for 40 years, so we're trying to get accustomed to a switch to Walgreen's where all our "computer records" from Rite Aid were sent.

Notable pair of splendid knives!

A few from the last few days when I couldn’t log on.

Those new Portugese Titanium traditional knives are lovely, managed to resist buying one (just). 😁

...
I'm enjoying the photos from your Iberian adventures, John!
Is that some kind of jamon on your plate?

It's going to be hot again. Cool evenings, though.
Righteous pair of Remington Barlows!

Have a blessed weekend everyone.

That old Case jack must be a blessing, Tim!

I have an amber jigged bone version of that marlinspike RR that I carry far more frequently than my rotation schedule assigns it to me.

Admirable pair of knives, and very cool "propellor photo"!

Today's carry is a Victorinox "Pocket Pal", the knife on the bottom.

So simple, yet so satisfying! I love my Pocket Pals.

I think Camillus must have been scraping the bottom of their parts barrel at this point. This side looks like a Buck leftover.

What a unique Camillus for you to treasure!

Superb stag, Steve!

Carrying vintage Craftsman 9549 Utility/Scout knife today. Just finished cleaning/restoring this recent find yesterday. Lot of black rust and pitting on the tools/blade, and the handle material was really oxidized but it cleaned up pretty good.

Nice job of refurbishing that scout knife!

Good dog, good beer and good knife.
