This is an interesting knife
Just sitting in a motel in southern Indiana after driving down from Wisconsin for my oldest brother's funeral tomorrow .
I have the Clip blade 77 Barlow in my pocket . The Sheepfoot 77 Barlow is identical to one that I bought for him back in 2015 when they came out .

Very cool i like that middle bolsterThank you! It's a Hungarian shepherd's knife.
The Bullnose does indeed posses a positive attraction.Down to very little daylight now here at 64°N dark by 3pm but at least there was some sun! The streaks caught on this picture, don't know why the Bullnose upset the compass.turned it all over-must be GEC's magnetic appeal
Always a dependable work-knife these.

Are you soliciting opinions?New to me. Love the Kingwood covers. Can’t decide if I’ll use it or keep it pristine.
I do that all the time. A side effect of getting a drop of oil after being used. Eventually, some patina will become permanent. Yes, it's a good look. This 78 is one of my favorites, i know people hate removing patina but it looks so good when you remove it kinda half assed View attachment 2726941
This old Ulster Barlow has been warming my pocket for the last few days.
