Rollie appreciation post:
The rainbow road gained an extra round new addition. All of a sudden he became lethargic n stopped eatin n drinkin. So we took him in for bloodwork n it came back as kidney failure. The only compassionate thing to do was to give him ultimate relief. It’s obviously no fun for me, he was a great friend and my smokin buddy, but my fiancée is absolutely distraught. He was her most trusted companion through many of her toughest times. Went for a long walk at his favorite spot n brought the SAK along.View attachment 2758977View attachment 2758978View attachment 2758980View attachment 2758981View attachment 2758982View attachment 2758984View attachment 2758985View attachment 2758987View attachment 2758990
Sorry to hear about Ollie.

For the first time in 43-years, our home is empty. This past week, "Utah" the doxie has not felt well. Late yesterday we took her to our Vet and she said there was no coming back for "Utah" so Cindy and I made the difficult decision to put her down. She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Hopefully, we can find an older rescue dog. Cindy is beside herself. Neither of us got much sleep last night - our bedmate was absent. No knife pictured this morning but I'm carrying the Case Jack I carried yesterday. Don't feel like breakfast. We'll most likely go to the Wagon Wheel Cafe later for something to eat.

Sincere condolences to both of you and your families! They were well loved. May their memories only sweeten with time.
