Top-flight Thrifty Thursday pair, Zach!I'm going in an unplanned opposite direction today with all the nice knives being posted & carrying a Case Sodbuster Jr. & an Imperial Kamp-King for thrifty Thursday. To add to the thriftiness, they are assisting me with some home appliance repairs today

And pretty cagey if you just held them over for Black Friday, too!
Notable pair, Jeff; I always enjoy seeing good old reliable RALF!RALF at work . . .

and Diego now that I'm home.

Mitch, Rosecraft Lamb Flash is a gas, gas, gas!
Congrats, Will, on that sublime new knife: substantial sheepsfoot, bewitching bolster, and joy-inducing jigging! This is going to take up residence in my pocket for the long haul
Since it's hand-made and in Italy, seems appropriate to show it with a Leonardo drawing of The Hands

Appropriately seasonal pair of heartthrobs, Rob!
Sensational stockman, Tim!Have a blessed weekend everyone.

Terrific triple-knife time machine, Paul!Don’t usually carry three traditionals but I said what the heck. I knew it was gonna be a slow day at work and I needed something to mess with to pass the time. Hope everyone has exciting plans for the weekend.

Bob, that Kutmaster muskrat is majestic!!
It does have a hefty feeling when cutting calls Gary.![]()
Thanks for the info. It’s a 2 spring 18 pattern, I find myself reaching for it most days lately.
Hey! I know that song!Yessir. Objectively, objectivity is in short supply. Your girl just has to attain the sufficient age to appreciate the Old Man's wisdom
I was trying not to be a wiseguy about pros who've used Teles.
Any genre from the late 40s to right now, Teles get used. Actual pros and volunteers like me.
I'll toss you one bone, though. Jimmy Page recorded the solo on Stairway To Heaven on his Tele.
If you find me on yourube.com, it aint me.
They do broadcast our church services on farcebook.com, but I've never been on fb.
It would probably make me cringe anyway.
No. Not telling you the link.![]()
I wouldn't be able to find your church services anyway. BF is the only "social media" I do. Never been on Twitface, Instabook, Xspace, etc. ("Farcebook" is a good one I hadn't heard before.
I like the "ironwork" on those benches!
I haven't watched "The Naked Gun" in ages, but if it's in that movie, I'm guessing it's in poor taste.Made me think of this.... If it's in poor taste I'll take it down.
That's a superb stockman, Lance!
I think the Case 18 pattern is a classic stockman, but I still haven't picked one up because of that proud sheepsfoot. Thanks for the comments, my friend. I'm with you, I like the bone on the Case but wanna push that sheepsfoot into the blade well every time I look at it riding proud in closed position.
btw; I like the bone on your tribal lock too, nice color.Corncob jigging is what I think Case calls it?
Quite sure my Tribal Lock was called pocket-worn Harvest Orange, but I don't remember what the jigging pattern was called.
Here are the 2 harvest orange Case knives I have:
I should try doing puzzles with a knife and pliers. I'll bet those tools would help me get pieces to fit!
Superior stag pair, Dan!A foggy start to the day here in the City by the Bay! Should burn off later in the day. With a nod to Stag Saturday I’ll be toten these two. Have a great weekend folks!View attachment 2791196View attachment 2791197
Your Peanut is so smooth and glazed, like candy!!
You need to find a whittler with spey and lambsfoot blades - kill 3 birds with one stone! It’s becoming a problem. Thanks for the compliment, GT
Outstanding stag sowbelly stockman!
