It's factory. And it does look amazing. The bone has the same cut out. Both awl's nest just right when their closed.

It is called The Morning Glory Hole and it’s a drain for the lake which dumps excess water at the dam into Putah Creek. It hasn’t been used since 2019 when the lake level was high. I’ve never seen it in person but it’s on my to do list.
