America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
I will absolutely be reaching out. Thanks, Dave.Paul I can help you with the fly fishing. And the fly fishing rig! At one point I had more fly rods than pocket knives…View attachment 2829511
Let me register as another fly fishing (really any fishing!) enthusiast!! That’s the genesis of my screen name. My fly rod collection numbers 100+ - still well shy of my knife numbers!! This is a shot of one corner of my man cave with rod tubes piled everywhere. My classic Fenwick glass collection is in the back. Fly fishing is not as difficult or precise as many think, particularly for species like panfish. My favorite summer activity is to sit at the end of the dock and toss mini poppers for panfish - they’ll eat anything!! A cold beverage and good cigar enhance the experience!!Paul I can help you with the fly fishing. And the fly fishing rig! At one point I had more fly rods than pocket knives…View attachment 2829511

Just fantastic. And beautiful. Did I say fantastic?
Yes! It’s hard to beat panfish on the fly. Especially with a lightweight or fiberglass rod. Then again fighting a nice big trout in a drift boat that someone else is rowing for you is also a sweet experience.Let me register as another fly fishing (really any fishing!) enthusiast!! And a cigar and beverages absolutely enhance the experience. There’s a Leatherman Skeletool in my front pocket. My go-anywhere fishing knife.
