I took this whilst I waited for the ferry in Eriskay. A tiny island at the bottom of South Uist, connected by a causeway. The Barra ferry was pretty choppy but these are the only two Ill have with me this week. The weather here is pretty crap.

Boker congress and case peanut.

Wow, nice pic mate

Thanks, Gev! I'm always impressed by your photos, and drool over your knives frequently, so that really means a lot coming from you.. :)

Can't seem to leave this one to home much any more,

Le Compact by Chambriard in Thiers France, handy size and super sharp!
Curly Birch scales have a lot of character in them too.

i've been looking at that pony jack for a while now and might pull the trigger. any blade play or problems?
I have the same but with a spearpoint blade. No gaps, smooth spring and liners when opened and closed, centered blades when opened and closed, razor sharp from the factory, just about perfect in every way. I think mine is at a level of fit and finish that is comparable to custom quality fit and finish (although I have yet to own a custom folder, please so do not hold me to that statement). The other Pony Jack that I used to own was not as perfect as the one I kept.

Daily carry ever since I received it a few weeks ago...
