What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

At Ease ... Liberty Call

I found this Klein TL-29 in an old toolbox recently.
It's a work in progress right now, it's cleaning up nice though. It was missing the bail, so I drilled out the previous hole to clean it up & installed a brass insert made from an old fitting. Then added the bail back on.
A perfect candidate for Thrifty Thursday!

Same old picture of one of my many $5.00 cigar box gun show knives, I love cleaning them up.
I love seeing old tools brought back to life so they can keep on working & being enjoyed.
Dang it holo07 holo07 , you're just putting fuel on the fire for new tinkering projects!

P.S. As an example see my previous post 🤣

P.P.S. I enjoy seeing what you find & clean up, keep them coming 👍

Yes I enjoy these little projects, they keep me off the couch when I get home after work.

Interesting celluloid. How is it holding up? I don't see any obvious signs of offgassing.
So far I don't detect any sign of off-gassing or deterioration. I have a few celluloid handled folders and I keep them out in the open and away from my other knives, I've heard the horror stories about aging cell. I picked this one up a couple years ago specifically because I like the look of waterfall celluloid, and I like copperheads.
Thanks for the interest, friend.:)
