Locking Knife of the Week is a big Joker stag lockback. (Seems like I carry this one often, which is good, and is probably due to the fact that it shows up in at least 3 of my weekly carry categories: Stag/Horn, Locking, and International.)

International Knife of the Week is a Laguiole caza (hunting) that my daughter got for me in Toledo, Spain (although I'm quite sure it's a Chinese import):

Yup, I like this material for a knife handle way more than I thought I would. It does look pretty light in this picture but it’s a few shades darker in most lighting.

I sold mine but I don’t think I would have if it looked like that one

Rain today so I will be inside working on my latest project again and using these tools which include my 2 old TEWs .

The handle is a newly purchased shovel handle and I had to remove the applied varnish and sand down . Will then apply a stain and install the brass Hames knob . Then it will join the others and be used when needed in the future .

Very nice, Harry. I had a great-uncle who made canes as a hobby. He used to sell/trade them at the family reunion (my grandmother was the youngest of 13, so the reunion used to be a sizable event). I’ve got a couple of canes that he made.

One of my favourite English Ales (none of that horrible citrusy fruit taste here!) and one of my favourite French work-knives in Olivewood with a good big chopper blade The week-end commences.
