What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Some fog today here in the City by the Bay! It’s already starting to burn off and I’m looking forward to sunshiny day. Got a clean bill of health from my surgeon yesterday and the only lingering issue is my hernia. It’s not causing me any discomfort and I can have it fixed but I may just live with it as the surgery to repair it is NOT FUN. Keeping me company is the usual lamb and one of my favorite watch pocket knives. Have a great day folks! 😀

I picked up this RoseCraft Blades Beaver Creek Barlow for $28 from their "2nds Sale." Supposedly there is a cosmetic problem with these knives being "2nds", but I've looked closely at it and can't find anything wrong with it. It's not the best photo and those are not scratches on the blade, so I don't know what they saw to make this a 2nd. 🤷‍♂️

I got back from Tennessee Sunday evening and the yard looked like I was returning it to the wild. I was mowing yesterday - had about half the yard done - when the belt came off with the stink of burning rubber and smoke 😧 Despite being worse for the wear, I decided to put it back on and see if I could at least finish the yard. The field would have to wait until I got a new belt. I got the belt back on and did about another fourth of the yard when the belt came off again. Not an unexpected event, however, this time I realized why it came off in the first place: the deck broke 😭

The bracket in the foreground should look like the bracket in the background. I need to find a local welder.
