Thanks! There was a single eye on the blade that is no longer visible without a loupe and an eye on the tang so I guess maybe it is an 80s knife although I don't really know enough to say.

John Lloyd butterscotch micarta 52100 swayback helped out today. Has a real satisfying snap without being a nail-breaker.

You sir, never fail at grabbing my interest. 52100 on a beautiful swayback like that? What a dream blade.

While not technically "toting" this one today, I do have this recent acquisition with me. To tote this old Robeson Jack would require me to sharpen/polish the factory ground edges, and also the jigging is so crisp on this old one, I hate to chance smoothing it.

My grandfather used to carry one of these. Any idea where I might find one?

Sorry, I have no idea where one might be available. This one was given to me by my grandfather ~10 years ago. Farm seed sales reps would give him knives once in a while when visiting his farm so I'm guessing that is where this one came from.
