What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well, here goes my first post in this awesome thread...

Seein' as how today was "Stag Day":D, I went ahead and dropped this one (even though it's not quite in the same league ;) as the beauties that were recently posted) in my pocket for Thanksgiving dinner at my folks' place.

In the woods and walking the ranch fence-line for my buddy whilst I've been kick'n up some birds, mostly some nice coveys of quail and doves for b-b-q'n.. :).. Carrying this vintage sheath knife-fixed blade on my right hip since yesterday morning..

Every now and then I check in here to tell that I still carry my Case medium stockman CV. Its now shows some serious darkening of blades and the silver line sharp edge. Some more time and its going to show the use in the handles to.

Bosse

Great knife! Mine never left my pocket till I got the itch for a Texas jack in cv, now I have a three or four knife rotation and three of them are Case cv:thumbup:.

I've been going through this thread for a couple days now. I love the character of all of these slippies, old and new. There are some really beautiful knives in here.

It's making me itch really bad to get a Case, or hit up some local pawn shops and thrift stores to look for knives :D

Today, me and a couple friends are helping another friend move. I have a Swisschamp on my belt, for any small jobs that come up, and my Christmas Trapper in the pocket. Figure the two of those will handle any job that comes up.

Coincidence...I'm helping a friend move today too.

Capt.Carl, I like that Medium Chestnut Stockman, I need to get hold of one of those, don't have that pattern.

Today it's a CASE Slimline Trapper in G-10, Ancient and Modern.

There's an old Zippo. they had a similar marking system as Case with the dots. The more dots the better the quality instead of the year.

This morning it was Mr. A.G Russell and Mr. Paul Long on the belt, and Mr. Sod Buster in the pocket.
