  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

In this view on the left (mark) side there is an extra steel liner that acts as the liner. The brass liner/bolster/scale on the mark side rotate for the internal locking mechanism

With the blade halfway open you can see the offset. In this pic the steel liner of the mark side is lined up with the pile side liner/bolster/scale, and if you zoom you can see the offset of the mark side (lower side in this pic)

And here, taken from the mark side, you can see the liner/scale offset when the handle is rotated

Thanks for all the photos and explanations about your bolster-locking Puma; that was VERY helpful in showing me how the knife works! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Congrats on the thrills you're getting from that knife, Buzz. The clip blade has such an admirable patina, gunmetal gray and so uniform! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Praiseworthy pair of knives, Jeff, and a promising pile of potatoes! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I was worried that the Tigers' magic had disappeared as they slumped on either side of the All-Star break, but they seem back to their best record in MLB ways (except for the white-hot Brewers). :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Potent pair! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Always a pleasure to see that unusual knife, José! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Have a nice day
Lovely lambsfoot! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I'm a day late but let me join this tribute to white bone. :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I quit smoking over 10 years ago, but that's a cigar I could enjoy! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Still running the Charlie Bell slim bullet trapper. View attachment 2972687
Terrific trapper, Dave! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Nice whittler, Mike, but I'll stick with my RR spear main whittler. :cool::thumbsup:🤓
Is that GEC a #59? I can't seem to find that GEC whittler on the "Knife Releases By Pattern" menu on their webpage.

Came home from the dentist and town yesterday and everything seemed fine but then Cindy spotted the cardboard top of a box in the yard. "Abby" the Hoarder had snagged a box of her snacks from the kitchen countertop, evidently had a few, and was in the process of burying the box of the rest in a hidey hole. It's a new adventure with her every day. Carrying a Bull Nose today. Sausage and ???? for breakfast. Oh, Abby would not pose for a picture of her next to the box or take responsibility for he misdeeds.

ED, it seems like you can't break your new dog of her old tricks. :rolleyes:;)

Terrific timber trio, David! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Gary, that’s one of the finest looking Sowbelly Stockman that I’ve ever seen!
Thanks, Lance. :)
I don't think I've met a sowbelly stockman I didn't like, and Case chestnut jigged bone is an awesome cover material IMHO, so I pretty much agree with your assessment! 🤓:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Captivating cattle knife, Jim! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Yes its a #59, Gary. Nice and slim and very pocketable. The RR is a little shorter and a tiny bit thicker, but very similar. Both have nice thin blades that slice well.
