What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I like your combo today.👍🏻
Thanks Bob :)

...with help from leather dye.

This sent me off looking for pics of the undyed factory version. It looks good, like burl almost always does, but your dye job takes it another level. Ya done good 👍👍

I noticed that RC doesn't specify the type of burl. I guess that allows them to use whatever is available.

Two of those two of my daily carry more often than not. The alox SAK (most often a Wengr Si or Victorinox cadet) and the woodsman. They do most of what I need.

Yes, hug a loved one. When the knife nut and gun nut thing faded for me, it was the same time I realized that the people in my life were WAY more important than the material 'things' in my life. Things can be replaced, but loved ones need to be cherished while they are here. The bad thing about living to be an octogenarian is, you say goodbye to a lot of people that you love.

Well said!

Good to see you in the traditional forum. When I visited my son in Liberty Hill last January I thought about you.

Thanks Bob :)

It's probably hunk a burl.

Well, we got back home about 45-minutes ago, got all the groceries and ice in and found the house looking pretty good but something was missing - didn't look right. A nearly full package of chocolate chip cookies was missing along with a package of lemon Orioles. Cindy went looking and found the Orioles buried in a whiskey barrel (no picture) and the chocolate chip cookies buried next to the house.

The chocolate cookies as found with "Abby" the Hoarder pretending not to see them.

The chocolate chip cookies fully exposed with "Abby" the Hoarder still failing to take responsibility.

And so life goes on in "Abby" the Hoarder's world. Cindy and I are enjoying every minute of it.

Gary, your copperlock is from, in my opinion, the best series Case have done in the last 15 years.
With the dark walnut bone and threaded bolsters, every knife in that series was a winner.
Jeff, I agree with your assessment!:thumbsup::cool:
Harry Old Engineer Old Engineer has a complete set that's very impressive.
I happened to stumble onto a NOS version of a 6347 from that series at a dealer in Oklahoma (?) that I gave myself for a 70th birthday present several years back. That and the mini copperlock are the only ones I've managed to find (so far).
