Sunny and 49F with a predicted high of 59F 🌅
Playing pool this afternoon. Need to take care of some banking business while I'm in town and make a quick trip to the grocery store. Nothing else planned today. Probably watch the World Series tonight.
Everybody have a good Friday :)

I don't carry this one too often. Fine knife.

I am on day 15 of "carry a single, different knife every day" until I get through my whole collection. Today was the first "I vaguely remember buying this knife, and don't recall carrying it" day.
A Zwilling J.A. Henckels split-back whittler. I spent last night going through some knives, getting them ready to carry. This need a minor sharpening, but it surprised me. Why didn't I carry this one more?1000004561.jpg1000004562.jpg

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider congress. (When I first started exploring pocket knife patterns 11 years ago, I thought the congress pattern would be one of my favorites, just based on seeing pictures. Turned out that I and congress knives never really hit it off.)

Lambsfoot of the Week is Lam Jack, my name for my 2017 horn Guardians lambsfoot (thanks, Jack). The knife in the photo is standing on a wisteria "trunk" for wisteria we grew to make an arbor over the stone patio behind our house. It was a challenge to get the wisteria to go where we wanted it to go (and even more of a challenge to keep it from going where we did NOT want it to go). My wife finally decided the wisteria had to go, and she's been cutting it out for the past week, while I've been cutting up the pieces into sizes that we can pack efficiently into our yard waste bin.

Oops! I almost forgot what day it is today. Here's an old "seasonal" photo of Lam Jack looming over a holiday lawn tableau. Happy Halloween!
