Ed, take care of yourself. I know what falls can lead to and in my experiences usually end with several EMTs hoisting me up off the ground. So…stay safeOnly posted a picture yesterday and then had to step away from the computer to find some comfort in my recliner. Fell night before last and on the way down bounced off the clothes hamper, the bathroom sink counter, and landed on my shoulder. Old age and loose comfy shoes don't mix after you've already taken a sleeping pill. My wing is working but the range of motion is limited for now. Not to worry though - I've got my well worn Burnt Oat Trapper out to chicken eye and coon finger. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

Fell night before last
I've thrown out a couple of pairs of comfy footwear, for catching or slipping. And who knew Mom would turn out to be right about the danger of not tying your shoes? I step on loose laces all the time, now. I never used to.Old age and loose comfy shoes don't mix

Glad (and not surprised) that you are hanging tough, Ed. My 86-yo mother-in-law had a fall on her carpeted stairs earlier this year that bruised her up and put her in the hospital for a few days. She is a Mississippi Gulf Coast gal who will not give up wearing her flip flops for man or beast!Only posted a picture yesterday and then had to step away from the computer to find some comfort in my recliner.
