What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It’s good to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! A bit chilly though but should warm up nicely by the afternoon. Nothing on the agenda for today other than trying to catch Postie Mike for a package pick up. Saves me a trip to the post office. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday two ebony beauties. Have a great day folks! 😀

What with carrying, use, and handling, the Cocobolo covers on this Ram Foot have turned black so that makes it eligible for "Black Friday" at least in my mind so I'm carrying it today. I'm stove up at home what with my injured wing and shoulder and wrist from my fall so I'm really just chicken eyeing and coon fingering the knife. Sausage and eggs over easy with a cinnamon English muffin for breakfast.

Dang, that's a handsome pocket knife🤙
Ironwood Mustang and bone Moore Maker in the pocket yesterday and again today. I've been away from the forum for a week or more and will be gone again in a few days. Good to come back and see no slack in activity on the site. Hope all here are healthy and happy.

Hope you can bring venison to the family Thanksgiving table, my friend.

I pulled that off one Thanksgiving, along with dandelion salad. Works best if you wait until they're done eating and complimenting the awesome home cooking before telling them.

Of course, likely your folks are kind of used to it.

I plan on taking a venison shoulder roast to SC for my high school wrestler grandson next week, he wants lean meat in his diet. So far this year Ive had no luck in the deer woods so he'll be eating last years harvest. I also have a wild turkey breast from one my brother shot and gave to me a couple weeks ago so we'll maybe throw that in a cooler for the trip. I haven't served wild game to unknowing guest in quite a few years. ;) My family enjoys eating it though or at least pretends to. One daughter in particular savors it cooked pretty rare.
Have a great thanksgiving my friend.

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Taylor-Schrade-Walden muskrat (thanks, Randy):

Lambsfoot of the Week is a Rosecraft Briarpatch Jack with smoky gray bone covers and clip and lamb blades on opposite equal ends. I name all my lambsfoot knives - this one I call Smoked Lamb.
