What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The sun is out and bright this morning and it's warming up enough for me to be able to sit out on the front porch for awhile instead of inside in my recliner. I'll have this Case CS 3318 Stockman in my pocket. This is my first CS knife from Case so I'll see how it compares with Case's CV as time goes on. Sausage and ???? for breakfast.

My home internet went to crap last night and still wasn't working this morning, so I was restricted to my phone earlier. How do young people type fast with their thumbs?! For that matter how do they do it slow with their thumbs? 😵 I still type with all ten fingers on a keyboard*, but I'm strictly hunt and peck on a tiny little phone keyboard 🫨
Also, I've never bothered to figure out how to post pics from my phone 😶‍🌫️
So, before my internet crashes again, without further ado...
...I bring you my favored GEC 29 and an RC Elk River lambfoot in rosewood

*I don't necessarily do it well, but I do it ;)

With all the aches & pains people get afflicted by from work and or advancing years, it's a pity you don't have access to this. Replaced the aged wood burning sauna in the country place, new one is only small but heats up very fast with little wood. In town, I'm lucky to have my own electric fired sauna in the flat. Good for insomnia, aches, blood pressure etc. Also gets you fundamentally clean, whipping with birch twigs optional but very fragrant :D

Failing this, it's always rewarding to coon finger/chicken-eye your current favourite Traditional

All the best, Will
All the best to you as well. I thought of you while eavesdropping on a couple of women at church. They were talking about how the sunsets are coming earlier and earlier.

Yeah. Saunas are great. My boy put an electric one in his backyard, but I have not tested it yet.
Smoking ribs for the family today. 74 again.

Hey! Close that lid! 😆
You have a good eye for using the light in your pics.

How do young people type so fast with their thumbs?

I think they get a lot of practice while they're behind the wheel.

An old Taylor Cutlery Butter Bean made in Japan in 1980. (date is stamped on the blade)
The walk and talk is not super smooth with a pull of about a 3, but it does stay open or closed. Other than that the fit and finish is very good and the stag is nice.

Ed, we'd definitely be interested in knowing your observations on the differences between Case CV and CS. Some folks say there's no difference at all. I wonder what you're noticing?
