Beautiful shots. Is that the chateau where the famous Chambord liqueur is produced? Love that 4-door Citroen!Stopped at Chateau d’Angers, Chateau d’Usse (Sleeping Beauty) n Chateau de Chambord (Beauty and the Beast) today n snagged up a local treat.
These Micarta GECs are both elegant and workmanlike
I know what you mean Harry....All steel for preference me, especially with Stag or light Bone. The GEC is a fantastic carry and user but your newest editions will, I believe, prove to be very useful as working-knives. I have the Gunstock in Stag and found it more than OK in finish and cutting ability. My only criticism is an aesthetic one, the blade is rather short in proportion to the handle. Nice blade on that curvy one (Sowbelly type?) these will do in the gardenCarried this one all day . One of my all time favorites .

I was tired of not being able to carry a Stag Handled knife every day without having to worry about Verdigris . A dealer had a Sale and I took advantage of it . No brass Liners or Pins = No Verdigris . I have some Nicer Stag than this but these will do for now . Well made knives . Not real happy about where these are made But .
Harry

Thank you Will . I agree with you on the Blade Length . It does look like there is enough room in the well for the blade to be another 1/8 " . As is , the blade length will work for me .I know what you mean Harry....All steel for preference me, especially with Stag or light Bone.
