I felt like carrying this modified Case Barlow of mine for the week.

I'd say it's medium, maybe a 5 or a 6. A little lighter than I expected maybe, but not enough to be a problem, at least for me. This is the first of their knives that I've owned, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I'm pretty happy with it overall.

Well that’s good to hear. Sounds a lot like mine. Find yourself a green jigged bone if you can, they’re fantastic!

Unfortunately today finds me waking up in a hotel on my way back to see Dad who is going downhill rapidly. Packed my bags, jumped in the car with the first knife I saw.

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay. Yesterday was filled with joy and sadness. My 49ers won and we lost another rock and roll icon. Keeping me company with a nod to Micarta Monday a couple of beauties. If I did it right I attached a link to the encore from the Dead’s February 1978 concert at the University of Northern Iowa which I was able to attend. It was an incredible performance and is why it’s one of the Dicks Picks. Bobby could ROCK!

It was indeed sad to hear of the passing od Bob Weir, Dan. I saw them live my first time in '79 and again two more times before Jerry passed away. I feel lucky to have had that experience.

That's neat. Did you grind down the pen blade or did you put a different blade in it?

Didja realize that if you tote the same knives all year long, and one of them has antler handles, every Stagurday yer prepared?

I'm not questioning your choice of carries but if I could just offer a little bit of canadian logic,have you considered carrying a stag stockman so you can cover stag Saturday and stockman Sunday, now I know our dollar is weak which forces us to be more frugal but it's also great for the environment(I think).

I cut and ground it.
I'd have left it alone, but they seem way too big of a secondary blade for the size of knife to me.
