What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Such a nice, rare knife!! I like the subtle curve in the blade!! Is that a robust blade - a rope-type knife???

The blade type is called a Navy rope blade. They have upswept curved spines with a bellied edge, rounded and dropped tip, with a thick spine that thins gradually toward the blade tip.

These knives are a distinct Sheffield maritime blade form, purpose-built for rope work and derived from sheepfoot geometry but not technically sheepfoot. In their day, they were favored by Royal Navy sailors,
Dock workers, Fishermen and Merchant seamen.
