What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I dont know a lot as yet JACK...6 inch blade ,,1o and 1/4 oal....sold as a yachties knife?...lovely dense wood with a fleck of red in it.....I like how the sheath is stitched and its nicely made.......FES

That's a nice score. Looks almost (almost) like it was altered from an existing knife- I have a couple cut-down carving knives made as rope knives, with sheaths nicely made for them.

Anyway you slice it, that's a handsome rig; the saw teeth are intriguing, kind of takes it out of the nautical category, but the sheath is definitely sea-going.

I'd love to know its history.

Thanks.

-when I'm wrong, I'm wrong, here's another, this one etched "Boy Scouts of Canada", I guess for when one was working on his "Stealth&Assassination" merit badge:

I've carried this Keith Johnson Lanny's clip almost every single day for just under 2 years and can find no reason to stop.

That's a cool photo--really cool. I like that rawhide saddle horn. Would like to see the rest of that rig, and the horse too. Oh and the knife ain't too bad either!
