What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Oh great waynorth 5K Qs 5K Qs jmh33 and other wise men of the Porch, what is the difference between a Canoe and a Butterbean?
umm ... the first is a boat, and the second a retired super heavyweight MMA fighter and professional boxer (with a very impressive win-loss record in both sports), and former Ironman Boxing Champion? 😁

(Edit: A "Butterbean" is also an agricultural crop the MMA fighter of the same name ate exclusively to lose something like 50 or 60 pounds to meet the maximum weight allowed to enter the Ironman boxing competition, when he first started out.)

A Butterbean is just a small Canoe, I believe!!
Thanks Charlie!
Dave, I have the same butterbean belief that Charlie has.;)
(I think Case may be the only cutlery firm that uses the term "baby butterbean" for what most others call mini canoes.)

I appreciate it.
In addition to what Charlie and GT have stated, the Case Baby Butterbean has long pulls which also differentiate it from their standard Canoe.
I didn’t notice the Long Pulls! But the Eye Brand main blade is definitely more pinch-able.IMG_2227.jpegIMG_2221.jpeg
