SAK of the Week is a Victorinox folding paring knife with serrated stainless blade and synthetic handle. The knife has no liners, but it has a linerlock. It was a Christmas gift from our dog Gandalf a couple of years ago.

Stockman of the Week is a Rough Rider stag medium stockman. Round bolsters, slender clip main, almost sunk joints, slim sinuous profile when closed, pleasant stag - can't ask for much more!

Inside with some tools I need to put away after fixing up an acoustic guitar I gave away. Our 16 yr old church bass player is beginning to teach one of his little sisters to play, and I thought this guitar would be perfect for her. I had to pull the saddle and remove a few mm. to lower the action for young fingers. New set of UL strings, and it should serve her well.

Out walking the dog.
Sit. Good boy. Now wait while I do something.
One of these blades is going to cut up another five lb of seed potatoes. I've already planted ten lb.
We'll see what potato patina looks like.
