What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Locust is some hard stuff...Bend more nails than you get through unless you predirill holes🙄........
Them walnuts make your hands stank if you pick em up......used em as and grenades growing up playing army in the woods....😜
I've used locust for firewood before. It's a real pita to split. Years ago, I made some furniture with a bunch of walnut that I bought from a friend. Even the kiln dried boards will stain your hands.
 
4H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) doings going on in town today at the fairgrounds so we might be headed that way later. Always enjoy walking around looking at the animals and watching the kids show their animals. It's a 1976 CV Jigged Bone Canoe in the pocket today.
