Pulling out on my way to physical therapy, and thought I'd take a shot of some of my Prairie Coneflowers in full glory. Unfortunately, the Monarch Butterflies that are usually busy working them were absent.

It has been a very long time since I have seen the old International Harvester emblem.

Cloudy at the moment, very still and humid. It was 82F at 8:00 AM this morning. Apparently we had a little shower. Less than a tenth in the rain gage, so not much. I didn't even notice it until I opened the door and saw everything was wet.

These Case XR Barlows are light in the vein of the micarta Fox Livri or the micarta Lionsteel Slims. Just disappears in the pocket. Great for shorts
I think I like Case's s35vn steel. I was coon fingering this one last night in front of the tv and did a little freehand sharpening with a fine diamond plate. It took a nice edge. Very slicey now

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! It’s was ten when I took this pic a couple of hours ago we were socked in with fog summer in the City. In the meantime keeping me cool a little green banana. Have a great day folks!
