What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today was Eleanor’s 10th birthday, so of course I was carrying her Nifebrite #71 Bull Nose again. I had this knife in my pocket the day she was born, and I carry it every year on her birthday and for other special occasions. My Rosewood Hartshead Barlow tagged along today, as well.

In addition to carrying her knife, I always take a picture of Eleanor with her knife on her birthday and post it here, along with all the previous years’ pics.

This was Eleanor’s first knife pic (also the only one not actually taken on her birthday; this was the day after she was born, at least in part because she was born fairly late at night).

Happy Birthday Young Lady!!! When you’re a new father, people tell you how fast it goes. When you’re sleep deprived and stressed, it doesn’t seem possible … it’s these kind of reminders that remind us to cherish these days!

Two Robesons.
The Easy Open Jack came off my watch list since nobody outbid me on line. Homestly do not remember if anyone else bid at all. I just wanted it because my Mom's Dad carried a Camillus just like it. His knife is retired in a cigar box.

I had never seen or handled a Robie Electrition - coon or not -
but Harry opened up the back hatch of his motorcar, and said I should have it.
I think it looks more like black walnut than stag antler.

I don't carry a Lambfoot often but I'm carrying this one today. It came from A.W. Wright and they call it a Barlow Lambfoot even though the bolster length is shorter than most of us would associste with a Barlow knife. It'll reach the high ninetys today and what with the rain we've had overnight lately it's muggy too. Sausage and eggs-up for brakfast.
