What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm debating on what my Christmas present to me should be: a nifebrite farm & field spear point or boys knife nifebrite spear point. I'm worried about all the reports of blade play on the farm & field, but I'm looking for a no worries beater and >$50 is a little much for that (IMO). Difficult choice.
 
When the tip broke on my 55 I went to the SAK as my backup. The farmer is right at home on the jobsite :thumbup:


 
Staying with my plan to carry old cheapies this week. So far so good. Imperial in watch pocket, Ranger in LF.

Caught my primary nail nick thumbnail that I use to open my blades in between the ratchet portion of a 3" yellow tie down. I feel I have a high threshold for pain but that brought a tear to my eye :o

So the "Scout" for a while until the thumbnail heals :thumbup:

Spending the day with my dogs, carrying two: Sean O'Hare Finback HT in Sean's own hand forged 672 layered O1 and L6 damascus, 3/16 thick with presentation grade desert ironwood burl and a Boker lockback in Rob Thomas stainless damascus and mokume gane, imbuia wood handles. Paul Long sheath with full quill ostrich inlays.

Wow Kris! That Sean O'Hare blade has an awesome pattern, it really flows with the blade shape :thumbup:
