Went for a hike today along Lake Champlain.

Nice, I miss both my #79's :( had the three blade and an ivory 2 blade, needing funds made it necessary to part with both, but, I plan on a stag 2 blade hopefully soon!

I really enjoy coming here and droolin' over all the purdy knives! Some good stuff, folks!:)

Felt like going with something simple today...

a little folder along with a few others, this one only measures 2.4" long when closed, fits well in the watch pocket, blades are super keen as they are almost zero grind bevels, exceedingly sharp, pearl covers, made back in the 1930/40's, neat little folder that still has great walk and talk and cuts ;) from a post I made a while ago here's the info they provided about this folder

PINE KNOT

A brand name of Belknap Hardware of Louisville, KY.

Goins says 1930 - 1940.

Some of the Pine Knot knives were, reportedly, made by Robeson.

and of course in this shot, my ever present Sinn 656 ;)

Thanks Andi :) I am kinda partial to this knife ;) I think ebony is probably my all time favorite cover material, I've just been drawn to it's beauty from a young age, and have personally experienced just what kind of abuse it can withstand, and with a little TLC be brought back to like new.

Been wanting to carry a single clip blade Charlow but was undecided on ebony or yellow bone. If Duane likes ebony, there must be a good reason. :)
